Yaguang Xi serves as an Assistant Professor of oncologic sciences at the Mitchell Cancer Institute, University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama, USA. In 2003, Dr. Xi earned his Ph.D. degree in cancer biology from the Peking University after he accomplished the medical training. His expertise covers molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, genetics, oncology, and bioinformatics. Currently, Dr. Xi focuses on characterizing micro-RNA biomarkers and validating their important roles in cancer development, tumor metastasis, chemotherapy, and prevention.
