Biography
Vladimir Zajac has completed his Ph.D. in 1982 at the Cancer Research Institute of Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava (Slovakia), where he was from 1996 to 2010 the Head of Department of Cancer Genetics. He joined the Medical Faculty of the Comenius University as Associate Professor of Genetics in 2007. He has published 56 papers mostly in reputed journals and he was editor of the book "Bacteria, viruses and parasites in AIDS process" (InTech).

Biography
Jesus Felizzola is the Chairman of MAP’s Board of Directors. He received his degree as a Doctor of Medicine and a post-doctoral degree in Health Services Administration from the Northern University in Colombia, South America. He also holds a post-doctoral degree in Latin American Studies with focus on Public Health and Economics from Florida International University. He brings to MAP more than 20 years of experience in HIV/AIDS clinical care, research, program evaluation, and community organizing both in Latin America and in the United States. Jesus Felizzola currently serves as associate Director of Howard University’s Research Program in the Epidemiology and Prevention of Drug Abuse and AIDS (PEPDAA), and project Director of the Minority Institutions Drug Abuse Research Development Program (MIDARP), both endeavors in the university’s College of Medicine. Felizzola has worked in a variety of professional positions and major appointments including serving as Manager of the Cultural Competency Program for the National Minority AIDS Education and Training Center (NMAETC) at Howard University and consultant to the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Communicable Disease Branch to develop a statewide community-mobilizing HIV/AIDS Initiative targeting Latinos. He has also served as principal investigator and co-investigator in NIH and HRSA-funded grants which included serving as Associate Director for the Latino HIV/AIDS Behavioral Sciences Center at Florida International University and Evaluation Services Manager at Community AIDS Resource in Miami, Florida. He has served on committees and expert panels of national significance providing consultation and insight on an array of healthcare related areas for agencies including the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Health Resources and Services Administration HIV/AIDS Bureau, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention; and the National Association of People Living with AIDS.

Aboul-Ata E. Aboul-Ata, Professor Dr. of Plant virology, who was born on Mar.22nd 1948 in Sharkia, Egypt, is the president of ArSV (Arab Society for Virology) in 2013 for 3 years. He was formerly Department Head of Plant Virus and Phytoplasma Research, Plant Pathology Research Institute at Agricultural Research Center, Giza, Egypt for 3 years (2003-2006), and Head of Molecular laboratory at Plant Virus and Phytoplasma Res. from Sep. 2005 up to now. In 2007, he has been awarded committee membership of Egyptian Society of Advanced Material and Nano Technology. He is being a committee-member of Egyptian Society of Virology since initiation in 2001. He is being member of the Molecular Virology Group at the University of Kentucky, USA, American Phytopathological Society, The New York Academy of Sciences, American Society for Microbiology, Federation of British Plant Pathologists (FBPP) UK, Egyptian Society of Entomology, Egyptian Society of Plant Pathology, Egyptian Society of Applied Microbiology, African Virology Associan (AVA), South Africa, Record World-18, 2001 GNNF 2852757104, USA. Aboul-Ata is the author of more than 40 scientific papers in different approaches i.e. Gene Silencing, sequencing of viral genes. He is being the author of chapters in different books i.e. Mediterranean Link Committee for Processing Tomato Research (MELCOPTOR) Book and Virus Diseases and Control in Arab World. As new era of research, he is leading an Egyptian research group (Human Virologists and Molecular Biologists) for a Swedish-funded project on Plant-based vaccine against HSV-2 in collaboration with Gothenburg University, Sweden throughout 2007-2010.
