Prof. Guo Ruichen, PhD tutor and the director of the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, Qilu Hospital of Shandong University. Prof. Guo graduated from Pharmacy Faculty of Shandong University in 1982 and completed his advanced study at Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, Bern University of Switzerland from May 1991 to Sept 1993. More than 200 tests of different categories new drugs in human have been conducted, 170 scientific papers published both home and abroad and 70 master or doctor degree students graduated under his command till Nov. 2012.

Dr. Rojanasakul is Robert C. Byrd Distinguished Professor and Program Leader at the West Virginia University Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center. He is also a guest scientist at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1989 and has worked as a full-time faculty member at West Virginia University. Dr. Rojanasakul’s research is in the areas of occupational and environmental toxicology, nanotechnology and molecular carcinogenesis. His research focus is on cellular and molecular mechanisms of lung fibrosis and carcinogenesis induced by respirable dusts, nano materials,and heavy metals. He has published over 170 peer-reviewed research articles in reputable journals.

Professor Vidhya Venugopal, a doctorate in Environmental Chemistry did post-doctoral research at Central Queensland University, Australia. She was awarded British Cheverning Scholarship to study Environmental Management at Manchester, UK. Trained in Sweden and Germany on Climate Change & Health, she serves as a visiting faculty at University of Heidelberg. She worked at Johnson & Johnson, Canada as Research Scientist for 9 years and served the Health and Safety committee. Currently she teaches Environmental & Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene. Yiqun Gan is a professor at the Department of Psychology, Peking University, China. She has received her Ph.D. in the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1998. She has published over 70 research papers, among which 18 were on internationally referred journals as the first or corresponding author. She has been in charge of a number of research projects, including projects funded by Natural Science Foundation of China. She serves on the executive editorial board of Chinese Journal of Mental Health and is a reviewer for 18 international journals. Her research area focuses on coping, mental health, and job burnout.

Patrick Patterson is a Professional Engineer (PE), a certified professional ergonomist (CPE) and a Fellow of the Institute of Industrial Engineers. Dr. Patterson has served as Chair of the Council of Industrial Engineering Academic Department Heads and as chair of the Product Design Technical Group of the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. His research and teaching interests include safety engineering, interaction design, cognitive ergonomics, user-centered product design, biomechanics and errors in complex systems. He has extensive experience in developing devices and device adaptations for individuals with disabilities. He has served as an expert witness in more than 50 cases relation to safety. He has published over 75 articles, given in excess of 100 speeches (including 4 keynotes and 34 invited), and presented more than 30 workshops on these topics.

His research and teaching interests include safety engineering, interaction design, cognitive ergonomics, user-centered product design, biomechanics and errors in complex systems.

Perng-Jy (PJ) Tsai is a professor and Dean in the Department of Occupational Safety and Health, College of Public Health, China Medical University. Prof Tsai completed his PhD in Environmental and Occupational Health from University of Minnesota, USA. He published more than 100 papers in the reputed journals and done 1 patent. He has specialization in Occupational and Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental monitoring, Industrial safety, and Noise control.

Dr. Liying Wang received her medical degree in 1983 from Beijing University-Medical College, China. After working as an internal medicine physician from 1983-1989, she joined West Virginia University (WVU) School of Pharmacy as a visiting scientist conducting basic and translational research related to occupational and environmental health. In 1999, she received a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology and Immunology from WVU School of Medicine. From 1999 to present, as a Principal Investigator and Research Biologist at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health USA, she works on several occupational research projects addressing the health effects of pulmonary exposure to silica, heavy metals, and nanoparticles. Dr. Wang also serves as an Adjunct Professor at WVU in the School of Pharmacy and Allen Lung Cancer Program of Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center.

Develop integrated models combining in-vivo/in-vitro, genome-based approaches to predictpotential adverse human health effect of workplace nanomaterial exposure. Determine key physicochemical properties of nanoparticles influencing their fibrogenicity and carcinogenicity to aid safe nanotechnology development and risk assessment. Dr. Mohsen Vigeh obtained PhD degree in Social Medicine, the University of Tokyo, Japan, and completed medical doctorate course in Faculty of Medicine, Tehran University, Iran. He had been worked for Tehran University of Medical Sciences for several years and currently is scientific staff of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, Japan. He has collaboration with several local and overseas universities/institute and dose peer review for some journals. Dr. Vigeh research interest is reproductive toxicology and urban air pollution.

Dr. Maryam Ahmadian did her PhD in Community Development at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Currently, she is a second year postdoctoral research fellow at UPM. Her major is Community Development with expertise in Social and Preventive Medicine, and Public Health. She has 8 years experienced in teaching, particularly Social Science. She has already published some papers and attended various international conferences related to Social Science and Preventive Medicine. She was even awarded by Catherin Peachy Award during October 2010 and also selected in October 2012 at International Symposium on Breast Cancer Prevention: Nutrition, Communication, and Public Policy at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA.

Dr. Li is a full professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, P. R. China. He received his BS, MS and PhD degrees in Manufacturing Engineering and Automation from Tsinghua University in 1993, 1995, and 1999, respectively. Dr. Li has been working for Tsinghua University since he received his PhD degree. In 2005, Dr. Li was selected into the Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University of Department of Education, China. Dr. Li has published more than 100 research papers, including more than 30 peer-reviewed international journal papers. As principle investigators, Dr. Li got one key project and two other projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and six projects from international sources. Dr. Li received the President s Medal Award from the Ergonomics society in 2008 as a faculty member of the Institute of Human Factors and Ergonomics, a National Science & Technology Award (first prize, the No.9 awardee) in 2005 and a Military Science & Technology Award (first prize, the No.3 awardee) in 2007.

Dr. Jan Rzepecki is a scientific research worker in Central Institute for Labour Protection – National Research Institute in Warsaw, Poland. An economist, a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics who has earned his PhD at University of Economics in Katowice. An expert on economic aspects of OHS and social insurance, including workers compensation. Manager of many scientific research projects and a lecturer at post-graduate and master studies on the OHS economics. The author of a currently effective national system of differentiated premiums in worker s compensation insurance in Poland and an author of about 90 publications in national and international journals.

Prof. dr. Zarema Obradović is an epidemiologist, currently working at the epidemiology department of Institute of Public Health Canton Sarajevo and as a professor of epidemiology at the Faculty for Health Studies, University of Sarajevo. After completing her studies at the Medical Faculty, University of Sarajevo, she completed the specialization in epidemiology in 1990. She completed the degree Master of medical sciences in 1997, and the degree Doctor of medical sciences in 2001. She is very active in several fields: public health, epidemiology, travel medicine and occupational health. She published over 170 papers on different topics and attended many international congresses and conferences all over the world (Bern, London, Paris, Athens, Rome, Ankara, Boston, Johannesbourg, Singapore, Nairobi etc.). She is a member of the commission for International Health Regulations (IHR 2005) in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the coordinator for noncommunicable diseases (WHO) on national level.
