Zhou is presently a Professor, Associate Dean of International Research, and Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. Professor Zhou completed his clinical training in China in 1989 and obtained his PhD in 2001 from the School of Medicine, the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Professor Zhou has published more than 330 peer-reviewed papers in various pharmacology and medical journals including New England Journal of Medicine, Cancer Research, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and Clinical Cancer Research. He has also published 16 books and book chapters and more than 200 conference abstracts. His work has been cited more than 4,500 times by other colleagues. He is involved in the development of more than 10 lead compounds. To date, he has trained 24 PhD students, 12 MSc/Honors students, and 14 postdoctoral staff. Dr. Zhou serves as an editor-in-chief or editor for Drug, Healthcare and Patient Safety, Drug Metabolism Letters, and Current Drug Metabolism and is the editorial board member of other 20 medical and pharmacological journals. Dr. Zhou has given more than 80 invited seminars/keynote presentations to a variety of academic institutes, government agencies, and high-profile international conferences.

Jiapu Zhang is an Australian Research Scientist. He finished his PhD degree in Australia, one Masters (in research) degree in National University of Singapore, and one Masters (in research) degree and one Bachelor degree in China in 2004, 2000, 1996 and 1993 respectively. During 1996-1998 he lectured in Shandong University - a famous and top university of China. Since 2005, he has worked in Australia’s CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation), Ballarat University and Melbourne University as a Postdocs – Research Scientist – Senior Research Scientist researcher. CSIRO has a team of protein structure-based drug design and successful designed the 1st drug RelenzaTM in treating the flu; Zhang was trained by this team. He is a Researcher in physiology and pharmacology with an M.S. degree in metabolic and molecular endocrinology from the University of Paris 6, France, a specialized certificate in endocrine pharmacology from the University of Paris 7, France, and PhD degrees in physiology and pharmacology from the University of Liege, Belgium, and Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco. After his postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine of Montreal, Canada, he is working for the last 14 years on medicinal plants. His research focuses on ethnobiological as well as pharmacological issues in the use of Moroccan medicinal plants for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, obesity, and hypertension. .Development and formulation of herbal products into dosage forms .Local sourcing of pharmaceutical raw materials

I am doctorate in Pharmacy (Neuropsychopharmacology) from the IT-BHU beside holding basic degrees in Pharmacy viz. M.Pharm., B.Pharm. and D.Pharm from elsewhere. I have worked with R&D Centre of Indian Herbs Ltd, Saharanpur as Scientist-C and was instrumental in setting up of laboratory devoted to behaviour & other neuropharmacological studies in rodents. After working with Indian Herbs, I joined Lupin Research Park based at Pune. There, I was one of the active team members responsible for performing efficacy studies and documenting the reports for filing Investigational New Drug (IND) Application on LL-4218 (an isolated herbal fraction for the treatment of Psoriasis). I have published more than 70 papers in peer reviewed national and international journals. I have also published one chapter in an international book ‘Hypericum’ under a series ‘Medicinal and Aromatic Plants-Industrial Profile’ published by Taylor & Francis, London; simultaneously published by Taylor & Francis Inc., New York, USA and Canada (ISBN 0415369541) and one chapter in ‘Handbook of Ethnopharmacology’, published by the Research Signpost Publishers, India (ISBN 978-81-308-0213-8) in the years 2003 and 2008 respectively.
